The Wild Rose Fitness Center will be closed Friday night and all day Monday.

Reminder:

The Waushara County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with other County agencies, local Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, and the School District of Wild Rose, is conducting an Intruder/Evacuation/Reunification Drill at the Wild Rose Middle/High School on August 26th, 2025, from 8 AM to 12 PM.

On this date, we will be conducting active threat training that will have role players. You may see ambulances, fire trucks, police cars, and other first responder vehicles. You may hear the fire alarm, simulated firearm sounds, and people calling for help/yelling. Please know that these are part of the drill/exercise/training and that there is no risk to the public.

Local first responder organizations have been working with a county-wide school safety team designed to create a unified response to critical incidents. All agencies in our County have been part of the development and planning alongside all school districts in the County. We believe that a unified plan for all parties in our County will provide a better response.

We will be setting up a perimeter around the school using barricades and other first responder vehicles. Please do not move the barricades.

We hope that a situation like this never occurs in our area, trainings like this one allows us to have a better understanding and preparedness should something happen.

Mrs. Barker’s summer school students have been exploring different biomes and the unique plants and animals that call them home! 🌎🌿 Last week’s adventure took them to the desert 🌵🐍—they read exciting books and created fun crafts inspired by the stories! 📚✨ #WildRoseWildcats

Mrs. Jansen's summer school math class practiced their measurement skills last week by making pancakes! 🥞 They also picked zucchini from the school garden and baked a chocolate zucchini cake! 😋 Great work, #WildRoseWildcats!

Today's concussion testing has been moved to ROOM 100. Please use the Fitness Center Entrance A.

The large group meeting will still be in the Auditorium at 5:30.

This is to accommodate work in the auditorium and the summer cleaning in the high school.

Just a reminder that concussion testing and the parent/athlete/coaches meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 30th.

Concussion testing will begin at 3:30, with the meeting to begin in the Auditorium at 5:30. Students who need to complete the concussion test were emailed in early July. Please ask your child to check their school email for information. If they did not get an email about concussion testing, they do not have to do it this year.

Here are the group times for concussion testing: 

3:30 - 4:05 - Girls - Grades 9-12
4:10 - 4:45 - All Middle School Athletes
4:50 - 5:25 - Boys - Grades 9-12
